about

Irkalla Kur is the underworld in Sumerian's Mythology, the great land of the dead.
It is ruled by Ereshkigal, the goddess of darkness and hell.

This album is a journey through the most ancient underworld.

In this track we can hear Azag, one of the more powerful demons of Ereshkigal. It is so hideous that his presence alone makes fish boil alive in the rivers. It is the bearer of diseases and plagues. His death will submerge earth with Irkalla Kur waters, killing everything.

On the cover picture we can read the sumerian cuneiform for Ereshkigal.

Sumerian civilisation ruled the earth from - 8 000 to - 3 000 BC.
- 5 000 BC they lived in huge cities with more 35 000 people in the biggest one. Their kingdom was in actual Iraq.

Maximum volume yields maximum results.

about

Abysmal Growls Of Despair UK

Onemanband of extreme musics, drifting through a wide range of sounds like ritualistic dark ambient, drone and funeral doom.

"It's just so overwhelming that it overtakes you and, like I said, a few times I had to switch it off to take a breath and escape the suffocating grip this yields on the body and spirit."
